Volunteer at KSA!
We are very excited that you are interested in volunteering at KSA! There are many ways in which you can contribute to the school and become an active member of the KSA Team and Family.
The following volunteer opportunities are available at KSA:
- Saturday School - We are looking for community members to volunteer and teach fun classes to KSA students during Saturday School. KSA holds Saturday School approximately 10 Saturdays a year. However, the remaining Saturdays are dedicated to Enrichment Clubs where teachers and volunteers share their passions with students by designing inspiring extra curricular activities. A few of this year’s clubs are as follows:
- Poetry
- Outdoor Adventure
- Running for Charity
- Baseball
- Water Safety
- Drama
- Community Beautification: Mural Painting, Gardening, etc.
- Math or Reading Tutor - You can help a child learn to read better or stop struggling with Math. We are looking for individuals willing to volunteer at certain times during the day when students in need of extra help can be brought together for tutoring.
- Library Support - Extra hands around the library would be great! It would be best if individuals interested in volunteering around the library are willing to commit to a regular schedule or be willing to come in when needed. Some of the responsibilities for this person might be:
- Cataloging books into the online library system
- Circulating books using the online library system
- Organizing and beautifying the school library
- Leveling books
